The Best Hansgrohe Faucets of 2024

With so many Hansgrohe faucets available, we struggled to narrow them down to a top five. By reading user feedback and expert advice, we were able to create our Hansgrohe faucet reviews of their current top-rated products.

Hansgrohe Focus Modern Tall Bathroom Faucet

Best Hansgrohe Faucet for Modern Bathrooms

Hansgrohe’s Focus line is a great choice in modern settings. It has a tall 7-inch spout with stylish curves and a beautiful chrome finish. It combines beautifully with several bathroom styles.

It requires a single hole for installation but a baseplate is available if you have more. It has a restricted flow rate of 1.2 gallons per minute. It should function perfectly for years, even in a busy bathroom, thanks to its brass construction and ceramic valve.

What We Like

Durable Materials

Brass is one of the best faucet materials for both the kitchen and bathroom. It is highly resistant to damage such as rust and abrasion. The faucet is also equipped with a lever lock that prevents the handle from becoming loose after repeated use.

To prevent leaks and ensure smooth operation, Hansgrohe included a ceramic valve. This reduces the wear and tear that comes with frequent use.

Modern Design

The Focus has a stylish silhouette with smooth curves around the spout and ergonomic lines on the handle. The smooth, high-gloss chrome finish embodies German-designed quality. The 6.25-inch spout will be suitable for most bathrooms.

Easy Installation

Everything you need for the installation is included in the package. You receive the 0.375-inch connection hoses as well as Hansgrohe’s pop-up assembly. All you need are a few tools and some basic DIY knowledge.

The faucet requires a single-hole sink for installation. However, you can buy a base plate to cover up the other holes.

Easy Clean-Up

The nozzle is equipped with Hansgrohe QuickClean. This is a rubber nozzle that is resistant to limescale and mineral buildup. This allows for easy cleaning without harsh chemicals.

What We Don't Like

Prone to Water Spots

The angle of the spout apparently allows water to splash and leaves water spots on the faucet. Some users complained that this made it much harder to keep the faucet clean.

User Experience

I've had quite a journey with this Hansgrohe faucet, swapping out from a polished chrome to a brushed nickel finish. The polished chrome was stunning, but the constant water spots were a real buzzkill and took a little sheen off its allure. The brushed nickel, while not as flashy, dramatically reduced the water spot issue which was a significant improvement for me. Installation was a bit tricky, requiring careful alignment and a couple of adjustments, but once in place, it functioned smoothly and efficiently. The high arch design and single-handle temperature adjustment feature are personal favorites, though the nickel color does come with a faint gold hue that might be a surprise to some.

Hansgrohe Allegro E Premium Kitchen Faucet

Best Pull-Out Hansgrohe Kitchen Faucet

Whether you have a compact kitchen or you just want some extra functionality, Hansgrohe’s Allegro E Premium faucet is an excellent choice. It’s made for optimal performance in the kitchen.

It has a pull-out faucet and, depending on your installation, the hose ranges from 12 to 15 inches. To increase your reach further, the spout can turn 150 degrees. The spray head includes two spray modes for all your kitchen tasks.

One great feature is the retraction system of the sprayer head. It uses a weighted mechanism that is whisper quiet. Finally, the nozzle is rubber for easy cleaning, and everything is simple to install.

What We Like

Practicality Made Simple

The Allegro line is all about functionality in the kitchen. The pull-out is our favorite for two reasons: it is compact and very user-friendly. Depending on your installation, it can extend up to 15 inches.

The sprayer head is also convenient, offering the usual two modes: an aerated stream or a powerful spray. The spout can rotate 150 degrees, which isn’t the widest range but should be plenty for a small sink.

Whisper-Quiet Retraction System

Hansgrohe is committed to providing a quiet experience to its consumers — ideal for homes with small children or pets. Many pull-out hoses can get very noisy as they are retracted.

This isn’t the case with the Allegro E. It’s whisper-quiet! Hansgrohe even claims it makes no sound at all.

Molded Spray Head

The spray head is made from polymer with silicone nozzles. This reduces heat conduction when you run hot water.

The rubber holes are very easy to clean as they don’t accumulate minerals and limescale. This also means less risk of corrosion and optimal performance for longer.

DIY-Friendly

Hansgrohe promises that its faucets are easy to install and DIY-friendly. They come with pre-attached 0.375-inch flexible connection hoses.

You only need to connect the water supply lines to the hot and cold sides. Then, attach the spray hose with the Hansgrohe Quick Connect system.

What We Don't Like

Stream Is Angled

Instead of pointing straight down, the spray is angled, meaning it often hits the front of small sinks and splashes up. Some users warned of this in their reviews, particularly if you have a shallow basin.

Personal Perspective

This Hansgrohe Allegro E faucet is a breath of fresh air in the world of kitchen fixtures. The beautifully crafted design and well-engineered parts like the substantial handle and mainstem make it stand out. Although it comes at a premium price, the quality and longevity of this German-made product make it worth every penny. However, the faucet does have a tendency to retain a bit of water in the head, causing an occasional drip after shut-off. Some may consider this a minor flaw, but to me, it's just a reminder that perfection is a journey, not a destination.

Hansgrohe Talis C Classic Bathroom Faucet

Best Hansgrohe Faucet for Rustic Bathrooms

If you want a perfect combination of modern and rustic in your bathroom, take a look at the Talis C. It has an open spout design that resembles a waterfall-style faucet, giving it a very unique look. The brushed nickel finish gives it an elegant, rustic touch.

Hansgrohe describes the Talis C as a nostalgic faucet with an original design. The open spout results in a stunning, eye-catching fixture that is also durable and will work for a long time.

It is made from brass and fitted with a ceramic valve. The handle is a Boltic Lock, ensuring precise adjustments and a long service life.

What We Like

Waterfall-Inspired Look

Whether you want to create a rustic bathroom or a modern farmhouse, the open spout is perfect. The waterfall-inspired look adds to the aesthetic appeal but also creates an air of relaxation as you use the faucet. The water flows beautifully, replicating a waterfall in your bathroom.

Sturdy Faucet

Many users pointed out how sturdy the faucet feels. Other manufacturers have tried to recreate the open-spout look, but many feel fragile and cheap in comparison.

The Talis C is sturdy and durable. The brass body is perfect for a busy bathroom. The ceramic valve prevents leaks and the Boltic Lock handle makes sure it can endure frequent use.

Straightforward Installation

The installation is straightforward for the average DIYer. Despite being a single-handle fixture, you can install it in a three-hole sink if you purchase a separate deck plate. However, one user pointed out that it requires a 1.25-inch opening, and not a 1.375-inch as stated in the description.

What We Don't Like

Not Great With Hard Water

The open-spout design means it doesn’t have a rubber nozzle, which makes it more prone to mineral buildup and water spots. Some users reported that watermarks show up frequently if you have hard water. The faucet still works well but it will also require more cleaning unless you install a water filter.

Community Feedback

This waterfall faucet is an elegant addition to any powder room, with its sturdy construction and sleek design, conjuring up the tranquility of a gentle waterfall. The faucet's aesthetic appeal is enhanced by the softness and unique feel of the water flow, although the flow rate could use a little more adjustability. The installation process is straightforward, but make sure to drill a 1 1/4 inch hole as opposed to the 1 3/8 inch suggested in the instructions for optimal performance. Despite a slight issue with the water stopper failing to hold water in the sink for long periods, the overall quality and elegance of this faucet remain impressive.

Hansgrohe Talis Loop Kitchen Faucet

Best Hansgrohe Commercial Style Kitchen Faucet

The Hansgrohe Talis Loop is ideal if you are upgrading your kitchen to suit a home chef’s lifestyle. It is an industrial-style faucet with a tall spout, spring coil and pull-down feature — a great addition to a modern and functional kitchen.

The tall spout reaches 23.6 inches at its highest point, but it also gives you a 360-degree swivel.

One helpful feature is the pull-down sprayer head, which adds a lot of versatility. It has two modes and a convenient switch to toggle between them.

If that wasn’t enough, it’s also equipped with an easy-to-clean silicone aerator and is compatible with a one or three-hole sink. Unfortunately, there is no base plate included.

What We Like

Excellent Commercial-Style Faucet

The first commercial-style faucets were tall and sturdy. This modified Talis Loop is shorter to fit into most kitchens. The 23.6-inch spout is elegant yet practical, ensuring you have enough room beneath it.

It is coated in a sleek steel Optik finish, enhancing the industrial look of the fixture. The spring coil wrapped around the spout is a perfect final touch.

Convenient Pull-Down and Docking

Depending on your installation, the hose reaches 12 to 15 inches, which is perfect for deep sinks. The pull-down features two modes: one for rinsing and the other for thorough cleaning. Even when using the stronger setting, however, the flow rate won’t exceed 1.75 gallons per minute.

You can toggle between the modes using the simple switch on the head. When you’re finished, it returns securely to its dock thanks to the magnetic docking.

Long-Lasting Performance

Hansgrohe constructed the Talis Loop from sturdy metal. It feels durable when you use it, and it will resist wear and tear from rigorous use. The polymer sprayer head is equipped with silicone nozzles, protecting it against the corrosion of hard water.

It also resists the build-up of minerals and limescale, optimizing its performance for longer. It is fitted with a ceramic valve to ensure a leak-free user experience.

What We Don't Like

Incomplete Instructions

Some users pointed out that the instructions were missing a vital step: how to attach the spout to the supply hoses. Fortunately, it was easy to find instructions online, but this is something that should have been included in the official instructions.

First-Hand Impression

After using this Hansgrohe faucet for several months, I've grown quite fond of it. The installation process was straightforward, even for someone with limited handyman skills like me. The design is sleek and it certainly feels like a high-quality product. The water pressure is slightly less than my previous faucet, but it's sufficient for my needs. However, the pulldown part is made of metal-coated plastic, which was a bit of a letdown. Despite this, the faucet still functions well and adds a touch of luxury to my kitchen.

Logis 70 Single-Handle Bathroom Faucet

Best Contemporary Hansgrohe Faucet

For a contemporary bathroom, consider the Hansgrohe Logis 70 — a beautiful bathroom faucet with the features to match. We chose the brushed nickel finish to enhance the modern look.

Hansgrohe designed the Logis 70 with a smooth, slightly arched surface that has clean-cut lines. This is undoubtedly an eye-catching piece.

It has a user-friendly handle equipped with Hansgrohe’s ComfortZone technology, so it’s easy to adjust precisely.

It is made with solid brass and maintains a reduced flow rate of 1.2 gallons per minute. WaterSense certification and ADA compliance are important extras.

What We Like

Perfectly Contemporary

The Logis 70 has a modern appearance but it is suitable for all kinds of decor, even a rustic farmhouse. The lines and curves are smooth to look at and touch.

Brushed nickel is a great finish for this style. It creates some contrast compared to standard stainless steel bathrooms.

User-Friendly

Logis 70 was created with functionality and ease of use in mind. One of the highlights is the ComfortZone technology, which provides high-precision adjustments and comfortable handles to hold.

Every part complies with ADA’s requirements and Hansgrohe’s safety standards to ensure safe use.

Eco-Friendly

Logis 70 features two technologies to ensure it won’t harm the environment: AirPower and EcoSmart.

AirPower increases efficiency by pumping air into each water droplet. This results in a higher effective volume, giving the sense of a faster flow rate with less water.

EcoSmart is an assurance that the fixture requires 60% less water to operate than other faucets.

What We Don't Like

Handle Hard to Turn

There aren’t many complaints about the Logis 70 but one user said the handle is a little hard to turn. This user was in the minority, however, as many others praised how easy it is to use.

User Experience

I'm impressed by the modern aesthetic of this bathroom faucet, the Hansgrohe Logis 70, particularly the smooth arch and clean-cut lines of the brushed nickel finish. The eye-catching design is complemented by its user-friendly handle, which utilizes ComfortZone technology for precision adjustments. Its construction from solid brass adds to its durability and the reduced flow rate of 1.5 gallons per minute makes it eco-friendly. It's noteworthy that this faucet is WaterSense certified and ADA compliant, demonstrating a commitment to both environmental and accessibility standards. However, I found the handle to be slightly hard to turn, which might be a point of improvement.

Who Is Hansgrohe?

Hansgrohe has a long history in bathroom and kitchen products. During the early 1900s in Germany, Hans Grohe noticed the need for an affordable alternative to luxury bathtubs. In response, he focused his company’s efforts on producing sanitation products (1).

Hans Grohe was considered a pioneer and a shower specialist, and his ideas shaped the future of the sanitation industry. At the age of 82, Hans Grohe pioneered the wall bar — a metal bar that holds the showerhead and allows for height adjustments. Today, this is considered a standard shower feature.

In 1968, Hans Grohe’s youngest son, Klaus, joined the firm and pushed it even further forward. Klaus brought fresh ideas where sustainability and environmental impact were top concerns.

Klaus assumed leadership of the company in 1977 and soon named it Hansgrohe. Over the next 33 years, he led the company to global success.

Today, Hansgrohe has 33 subsidiaries, approximately 4,700 employees around the world, and 22 sales offices.

Hansgrohe Design and Innovation

Hansgrohe focuses on innovation, with a work environment that encourages the creativity of its team of designers. Following in the footsteps of its founder, Hans Grohe, the company aims for top quality in its design, manufacturing, and products.

Hansgrohe promises its products will excel in four core categories:

1. Product Quality

Every product that leaves a Hansgrohe factory must be durable, reliable, and sustainable. Each faucet needs to be user-friendly, including any smart functions to give them a modern twist.

This extends to the installation process — it should be as straightforward as possible. This makes it viable for the majority of DIYers to install their products.

2. Top-Notch Manufacturing

To ensure every part will last as long as possible, Hansgrohe only uses high-quality materials. Durable materials mean the faucet will retain its original efficiency for as long as possible, which is better for the environment.

3. Timeless Design

Hansgrohe doesn’t pay much attention to current trends, in contrast to many other manufacturers. Instead, the company focuses on creating timeliness designs that will look as good in 10 years as they do now.

Good design is about more than just looks. Hansgrohe’s high standards extend to making its products as intuitive and user-friendly as possible.

4. Whisper Quiet

The company places extra emphasis on how its products sound. Hansgrohe feels that top quality also means excellent acoustics (2).

Many cheaply-made faucets and showers make a hollow, empty sound, but Hansgrohe focuses on making its products whisper quiet.

Hansgrohe Contact Information

Hansgrohe’s website provides several options if you want to contact the company, including a contact form. If you would prefer to speak to customer support on the phone, you can use this number: 1-800-334-0455.

What Reviewers Say

Hansgrohe faucets generally receive positive customer reviews. Most of their products receive an average rating of 4 stars.

Customer reviews often mention the heavy mounts that look and feel sturdy. Their collections feature sleek, modern styles and finishes that will suit the majority of homes.

Where to Buy Hansgrohe Faucets

You can buy Hansgrohe faucets from their website or via local retailers. They are also available from online retailers such as Amazon and Home Depot.

Double Check

Check that you are buying from a certified seller of Hansgrohe faucets. Even if you find a cheaper deal from another store, your purchase might not be protected by Hansgrohe’s warranty.

FAQs

Is Hansgrohe a Good Faucet Brand?

Hansgrohe is best known for its showers, as one of the oldest and most innovative shower brands in the world. However, in more than a century since the company was founded, it has also produced many high-quality faucets that will make a great addition to any bathroom. Hansgrohe focuses on producing affordable, reliable, stylish faucets, with less of an emphasis on features such as touchless technology.

Where Are Hansgrohe Faucets Made?

Although Hansgrohe was founded in Germany, where the company is owned and managed to this day, it has expanded greatly in more than a century since it was founded. Today, it has branches around the world, with its products being manufactured in Germany, France, the United States, and China. Its products are available in dozens of countries.

Are Hansgrohe and Grohe the Same Company?

Hansgrohe and Grohe are not the same company, although the two are very closely linked. Grohe is essentially an offshoot of Hansgrohe, founded by Friedrich Grohe when he left the company of his father, Hans Grohe, in 1936. Much like Hansgrohe, Grohe enjoyed rapid growth over the following decades and acquired numerous other companies in Germany and beyond.

Does Hansgrohe Have a Lifetime Warranty?

You get a limited warranty with each of Hansgrohe’s products. All products purchased from an authorized retailer come with a five-year guarantee from the manufacturer.

Because the warranty cannot be transferred to another person, it is only valid for the first purchaser of the device and only in the location where it was initially installed.

Hansgrohe offers a replacement of the product or the component in question if you discover flaws in either the materials used or the craftsmanship of the item.

Are Hansgrohe Faucets Lead-Free?

Back in 2010, Hansgrohe made the announcement that all of the relevant products sold under the Axor and Hansgrohe brands are in compliance with the low-lead legislation that is in place in the states of California and Vermont.

A checkmark on each package attests to the fact that the product complies fully with the laws of both California and Vermont.

Is Hansgrohe Better Than Grohe?

Grohe and Hansgrohe are two big players in the bathroom industry that provide goods of an equivalent level of excellence.

While Grohe emphasizes traditional designs, practice, and careful planning to ensure the highest possible level of user safety, Hansgrohe prioritizes utilizing cutting-edge technology, an original and sometimes opulent design, and water conservation.

Both of these brands provide items that are of high quality and can last for a long time. You won’t be disappointed whichever company you decide to put your faith in.

The Verdict

Hansgrohe has a long and rich history, dating back to 1901 in the Black Forest. Today, it makes some of the best faucets for both the kitchen and bathroom. It is known for high-quality and innovative water-preserving features.

Its faucets are available online from its website, as well as via other large retailers such as Amazon and Home Depot. However, it is important to buy from an authorized reseller to ensure you can enjoy the brand’s generous warranties.
